We took one of our little walks along the river front yesterday and this little conversation popped up. So I decided I would do this as this weeks Out of the Mouth of Babes rather than the one I had planned.
On our walk James spotted the cranes far off and this discussion happened:
James: "Daddy, look there's Giraffes over there!"
William: "Haha, you're so silly James! They're not Giraffes! They're made out of metal. Isn't that right Daddy?"
Me: "They are made out of metal but they do look like Giraffes"
(Clever I thought, agree and appease both children, right?)
William: "They only look like Giraffes because they haven't transformed yet. When they do, they look like robots"
And Yes, before anyone says anything I did Google it when I got home and look what I found!
So now we all know that they are cranes, they are made out of metal, they do look like Giraffes but they are also Transformers!

DeleteYour kids really do seem to know everything. Genuinely! I can't believe it's true - I'm going to tell my kids tomorrow - they'll either say 'yes I know that Mum,' or they'll say 'REALLY??' Can't wait.
