With some warmer and sunnier weather and more chances for the seaside we've come across a lot of seagulls. That said, they seem to be getting bigger and braver year on year.
This one pretty much walked straight up to us and then struck a pose!
Wow! I had to look twice at this picture Martyn! You managed to stand still and take a pic while a seagull came that close to you? Brave dear boy, very brave indeed! Worth it though, it is a splendid image.
The seagulls here are causing a lot of problems they even had birds of prey to chase them off! They take food from people! They are very bold! #Mysundayphoto
Hi Martyn, that is one seagull I would not mess with! I'd have probably given it what it wanted and ran! It is a very nice photo though, I love the colours and clarity of the bird.
He does look like he's posing for you! Love the vibrant colours in this photo :-)
ReplyDeleteThat certainly is one brave seagull - and well captured too!
ReplyDeleteHaha...I bet he was saying "Is this my best side?"
ReplyDeleteA great close up shot. Have a great weekend :D
Ahh! They are so brave! You are right. Seagulls are getting bigger x
ReplyDeleteHe really is a poser, holding still just long enough for a perfect photo
ReplyDeleteNice perspective and full of character

Haha vogue!!! They still terrify me to this day but ever since Findin Nemo I just think "mine! Mine! Mine!"
ReplyDeleteIt's huge!
ReplyDeleteHe's probably used to people feeding him and isn't afraid.
ReplyDeleteHe wants to know where his chip is....he's frigging hungry!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture. I'm not a fan of gulls now - they're so aggressive when food is around
ReplyDeleteOh this is so fab what a close up shot x
