On the second week of my #40daybloggingchallenge I visited
these lovely people:
Day 5
Gary is such a great guy; it has been a pleasure over the
last few months to get to know him. Through reading his blog I realised we have
a lot in common; mainly the fact that he is another blogging Dad and he is Divorced.
His blog posts cover everything that has been going on and really is like
reading an online journal. He shows his outward attitude to the events that
life throws at you with composure and an added side of humour. He does have,
some might say, a slight obsession with Katy Perry and if you delve into his
posts you will often see her pop up in conversation. Importantly though he is a
great blogger. He always makes time to read, comment and tweet about your blog.
Day 6
I went and read Mamamim at mamamim.com
I have to admit here this is one of those moments that I am
a bad blogger! There are so many great and wonderful bloggers out there and it’s
difficult to actually get around everybody. I have been following mamamim for a
while but truthfully never really stopped by her blog. Bonus to this challenge
though because I actually did and I am so pleased that I took this time to
see!! Her parenting posts about her toddler are always great but I personally loved reading her pregnancy
journey with her second child. It’s such a great thread to follow especially
when you’re back reading it and seeing it change. I learnt the hard way, she is
one not to miss!
This blogger is someone fairly new to me (We have only
really been in contact for just over a month) but where would I be without her
tweets and comments! She has definitely snuck into being one of my favourite
bloggers. (Don’t be offended but we all kind of have 10-15 favourites)
The blog is fantastic; she is self-declaring that she knows very little
about gardening but she is giving it a go and it great to see the work and
progress. Her meal plans are great; I just wish they didn’t put me to
shame! And if that isn’t enough to
impress her parenting posts show honest and candid approaches to life whatever
is happening. And as her blog title suggests she does enjoy a nice glass of wine (although be warned don't put anything funny up on twitter she is prone to spitting her drinks out!) She is a blogger I admire and a twitter follower that I am
thankful to have; if you don’t follower her she seriously is a must!
Day 8
This blogger is just a complete pleasure. Mrs H over at mrshsfavouritethings.com
is possibly one of the nicest people I have ever come across. She always brings
a smile and positivity to wherever she goes. Including my blog! Her posts show
her being a fantastic Mummy, Worker, Charity Geek and importantly blogger! Her
posts can be straightforward but not once have I read one where it hasn’t spread
warmth to the world. She is a true blessing to have following me and she would
be for you too. So, again, if you’re not following her do so because who wouldn’t
want someone like this in their lives!
Day 9
My final day this week features Amy over at www.mrandmrstplusthree.com
Amy is another blogger who does so much! Seriously how do
you all do it? She has some truly breath-taking
photos that capture some really incredible moments. Her reviews are always
clear and precise and you can always see how they suit her and the blog. Her
Mummy posts can be a mix between everyday stuff to informative and helpful. (I
personally love a post she did recently on Four Little Ducks; really was such a
clever and brilliant post) I have to admit though that nowadays I sneak over
more to read her truly lovely recipes! If you’re someone who likes to meal plan
or just a fan of finding some great recipes then you would be missing out if
you don’t read hers! They have become a favourite in my household especially
when William is cooking! Ultimately she is another blogger who will read,
comment and tweet you to offer support, guidance or just to keep up with you.
Week 2 has gone very well but for all those clever people
out there you will realise that I am missing a day! Yes I am a day behind in my
challenge. But no fear I will catch up and do two one day this week.
What I have found is the continued support from followers
who love this challenge and who are connecting up with other bloggers! New or experienced
it doesn’t matter there should always be time to find these great bloggers and
just connect!
Until next week!
