So this week we've been making boats in our Home Education topic Transport.
This is James' boat.
We discussed which materials floated previously and then using those ideas made the boat. The first test passed and it floated!
Yay! We should be happy.......
Nope! Apparently, according to James, it's not fair that it didn't sink! So naturally he ran off in a huff to the corner of the room to cry it out for 20 minutes at the sheer injustice of it all!
Come on daddy!! It's much more fun when things get destroyed!!!
ReplyDeleteSilly you, you live and you learn!!
Haha yes clearly! I just thought he understood what the topic was lol
DeleteAt least he didn't decide to sabotage it and make it sink! It's the small things isn't it! #wickedwednesdays
ReplyDeleteYes, there is that. I think he wanted to though! Ha it definitely is the small things.
DeleteHahah he didnt get the memo that its good to float on a boat
ReplyDeleteHaha clearly not. I assumed that he did, clearly I was mistaken.
DeleteHaha bless him, I guess the game is sort of over if it just floats isn't it? You'll have to put a couple of holes in it and try again! ;)
ReplyDeleteI think it clearly misses the whole drama of it sinking....The panic and what to do. Maybe we should have made two! Ha! I think if I sabotaged it then it might have ended up like this anyway!
DeleteHaha it sucks when things don't go youe way X #wickedWednesdays
ReplyDeleteDefinitely does! I just wish he'd known that!
DeleteOh my god that's so good!!! Kids are insane! Thanks so much for linking up to Wicked Wednesdays! I look forward to seeing what you have lined up for this week! x
ReplyDeleteThey really are!!
DeleteHaha I love the random tantrums! x #Wickedwednesdays
ReplyDeleteIt was really random! Made no sense at all! I suppose it does steal the fun of watching it sink though
