Week 1 on #40daybloggingchallenge

As some of you know I have been taking part in my personal Lent challenge if #40daybloggingchallenge

For those who don't know; this basically is me choosing a blogger, reading up to 3 posts, new or old, commenting and tweeting some love in your direction.

Although this first week has been easy with only 4 people visited.  What I have found great is the response from everyone in doing it.

I started it with one of my all time favourite people, let alone one of my favourite bloggers.
Ally over at www.messedupmum.com Her blog is a mix between parenting, mental health and a bit of Ally thrown in. The latter part in one of my favourite things; I've found some amazing blogs but one thing that has stood out is how 'samey' some can get. No offence to anyone but there are hundreds of bloggers in specific fields so it's difficult to place your stamp at times. Ally though has done this.

Her mental health posts show the sheer strength of this amazing woman. Her parenting posts are great and despite a variety of mental health, as well as physical health, problems she is raising her son J brilliantly. She is someone of fantastic love, morals and exceedingly high strength.

If you're not already following her I would employ you to do so. She provides nothing but a honest post reflecting life at its best and worse.

On Day 2 I chose Al over at The Dad Network. What The Dad Network offers is a blog to show that dad's are parents too and not just babysitters. From this he has grown it to a Facebook group for parents and a private one for Dads. Even then an added group for Dad bloggers was created.

This, as you can imagine, is great but how many people see what is presented rather than the journey to get there? I know I did. After spending time reading, eventually more than 3 posts, I saw Al and his families journey to now. I already respected this man massively but after reading more I have nothing but pure admiration. I am lucky to call him a friend but in truth I'm lucky to have read his blig and see him as a fantastic example of a man.

Again, take some time to know him.

Day 3.

Day 3 was filled with looking at  Natalie from plutoniumsox.com

Natalie is another blogger who's blog is just her. When you take time to read her posts you see so much of her shining through! She has two small girls so you will see a lot of parenting posts but I will admit that these aren't my favourite; not because they're bad but there ate others that I always enjoy no matter what.

Her Thursday photo posts are always filled with a round up and concluded with a photo; each photo always captures exactly what she's saying. My all time favourite though are her pet posts. The adventures of her Cat Jamer (adorable beauty of a cat) and her dog Pluto ( very cheeky and clever)

Her humour and personality always come across. The fact is that you can read her posts and know exactly who she is. And my biggest admiration for her is her juggling act between Mum, Wife, pet owner and a work from home parent. To top it off she finds time to blog and keep fit with running.

Always find time to read about her.

Day 4 and my final blogger if the week.

Sarah over at Run, Jump and Scrap.

She's a new blogger for me and also a new blogger in the circuit. By the looks of it she has excellent parenting posts; fun, clever with a brilliant writing style. Her posts on fitness offer a different perspective and always motivate me to do more. Although she's new there was aspects of her blog that flew out for me.

Her craft and scrapping for one. Her posts show a creative flare that would make any crafty person jump at the chance to join in.

She is definitely a blogger that I will keep up to date on.

Follow the links and follow them on twitter or just read their blogs and get to know them.

This has made me so excited about continuing with this. If you want to feature drop me a tweet or comment below. Already have 20 days so still need another 16!!
