Review - Harry and Jacks Adventure Pack

Being a home school parent we often go on many adventures to explore and learn and one thing that I have seriously been missing is a bag that is either child friendly or has enough space to fit everything into.

Currently on the market you will find school back packs that are too large for my small boys and although it would be useful to have a bag that they could keep and grow into it always felt like something that was truly wasted.

This remained true until I was asked to do a review of this Adventure pack from Harry and Jacks

The adventure pack is offered in different themes; A Rocket pack design and a Scuba Pack, both of which are there to support imaginative play as well as a useful functioning bag.

The Rocket pack

Despite the bag being smaller in size, and having a suggested age of 3 - 6, it provides a very spacious layout and includes it within a fun design.

The two Rockets have zips at the top that, for us, allowed space for multiple use. The different compartments provide deep and spacious room that could fill a numerous amount of items.

We chose to use one rocket for drawing and colouring equipment to suit its use in our Home School adventure. Inside the bag we had enough space to fit writing pads, a clipboard as well as enough room for all of our lunch.

This cleverly designed pack also had side compartments that comfortably fitted drink bottles in. (Including that standardised school water bottle)

As you can see; William, 6, is wearing the bag and you could easily see that the recommended age range could be exceeded. Both boys took turns using and wearing the bag. (If I am honest there was almost in-house fighting over wearing it!)

When we stopped our Home Schooling and had our lunch the pack really started to shine; It automatically became an exploratory aid to play with making both boys astronauts!

This added use was brilliant and something that I know the company promotes and one that I would fully endorse; having a multiple purpose, and as a Dad who is reluctantly dragging his feet and allowing the Boys to live in a technology ruled world, it fitted ideally with how I promote free thinking and imaginary play.

I can see this unique, engaging, cleverly designed bag one that would suit children of preschool and older.

If you're looking for a bag for Nursery or School or one that helps to add to the excitement for your child to have day trips out then I would recommend Harry and Jacks.

Looks like a great pack for little ones, I love the reflective bands as well, always useful when safety is considered (it so often isn't in designing kids stuff).

I know. There were loads of great features to it. But tried hard to encompass it's use with us. It is definitely designed brilliantly and something little ones would enjoy!
