My Little Chef - Chocolate Sweets

William got these lovely chocolate moulds for Easter and he's been itching to use them; on a day that none of us felt like we wanted to do too much we decided that this was the best time to make some chocola
tes.

William wanted to make both white and milk chocolates and decided that he wanted to use the round moulds to "make some nice looking chocolates"

He started off by melting some milk chocolate over a half full pan of boiling water.

Once the chocolate was fully melted and smooth he spooned the chocolates into the mould.

He the repeated this process with the white chocolate.

The he filled the remaining spaces with the white chocolate.

He then carefully placed the chocolates in to the fridge to let them set and cool.

Once they had fully set he took them out of the fridge and carefully pushed the chocolates out of the moulds and placed them in to a nice pattern on a plate.

Williams Tips
  • Always have an adult with you when doing this.
  • Be careful when melting the chocolate; the steam is very hot.
  • When using the saucepan and stirring the chocolate always hold the handle.
  • Always lick the spoon when you've finished putting the chocolate in the moulds.
  • Be careful when pushing the chocolates out; some chocolates might crack.
  • Eat and Enjoy!
