Ten things I have Liked and Loved in May

It has come to that time of the Month where I look back at May and look at all the things that I have Liked or Loved.

Always slightly harder than expected but it is always something good to do!

1. Bank Holiday Weekend #1

The First Bank Holiday Weekend usually has a community event in one of our local Historic Towns. This one was the Sweeps Festival; the boys were of an age this year where they could really enjoy everything that was going on and we all had a great day out!

2. Bank Holiday Weekend #2

I have truly loved there being two bank holidays this month it has meant that I have had more time to spend with the boys and do more activities. The second Bank Holiday was actually spent just doing fun, family activities that we all enjoyed. Just being happy and having fun building memories.

3. There's a Girl!

O.K, this is slightly misleading as it was technically April but lets skip past that for now! But I am back in the "Dating Game" and there is a girl who I have been dating through May and it seems to be going well. Lovely lass but I can't say too much she reads the blog! She also reads a few of yours, so you might have missed an odd random lady Retweeting some of your posts. (As she seems to follow the blog does this mean I have to behave now?)

4. I have Keys!

This really just follows the previous months posts about me moving. The contract has been signed and I have the keys so all I have to do is move in! Lets hope that features in next months!

5. Home School

Home School hasn't been as full on this term compared to previous ones but actually that has been an added bonus! We both seem to be more relaxed and we are still doing some great activities.

6. James turned 4!

If you missed it I no longer have a toddler and my gorgeous little boy isn't so little anymore. His birthday was fantastic, he had an excellent day and I really enjoyed seeing him do everything he wanted.

7. Blogging Community #1

This is going to be split in to two points.

I am a strong believer in  not being part of a group or a clique; actually I hate them and it does annoy me how some groups can segregate you. However, one thing I have noticed this last months is that there are small groups of bloggers that I seem to always be talking, laughing and being supportive when needed. I don't belong to one specific group either but a collection and the strengthening of these relationships have been great. Even if I am usually the jovial child who ends up being the cheeky one! This has meant though that I have ended up with things like this on Twitter:

I'm pretty sure a lot of this has something to do with +A Cornish Mum Blog 300 replies!

8. Blogging Community #2

This part has been a bit of a shock for me but I have liked it nonetheless. For some reason I seem to be the guy who can help; there doesn't need to be a specific reason but occasionally I will get a tweet or a mentioned comment with "Maybe @Mr_Kitney will be able to help with this"
I have only been blogging for 8 months so it is quite strange that people have been approaching me to help them. I don't see myself as a big blogger and if anything I know that I am still a newbie in so many aspects but for people to seek my help has made me feel, at least, that I am someone friendly enough to help.

9. Re-Creation

If you missed it earlier this Month William and I went to visit a little Art Workshop in central London. I was so impressed, I was like a child in a sweet shop. The workshop was full of drawers and shelves or everything you could craft imagine. I could have stayed there more than a morning and plan to go back a lot more. Truly fell in love with the place and the lovely ladies who run it.

10. Mental Health

This month has flown by but sitting reflecting on it I realised that it's been two months since I had my last flare up with my DPD. The first month is always an accomplishment but the second is better for me; it's usually a sign that I'm starting to get back on track. This year has had a tough start I don't think I have had more than a consistent month so this is a proud achievement for me.

Oh Martyn have we taught you nothing?! You can't call your girlfriend an 'odd random lady' it's really not very romantic!! Although I'm sure fine so long as you haven't started moustache rumours for her as well grrrr!
I'm pretty sure half of the 300 replies were you and Al bullying me and Michaela defending me ;) Ha! I'm the same as you I hate cliques, but nothing wrong with having a group you especially get on with and none of us are the types to exclude others if they want to join in :)

Thanks for linking up again lovely, Stevie #TenThings

Hahahaha! 300 comments, makes it sound like we are never off Twitter. Oh. Maybe we need to get out more?? 😂

Haha she didn't mind. She thinks she's rather odd. Well she enjoys our blogs so she must be! I agree, little groups and individuals make the world go round especially when they're inclusive.

Haha I think we need to get out more michaela!
