My Little Chef - Santa Maria Fajitas

At BritMums last Month we met the lovely people as Santa Maria who offered a competition for bloggers and their Fajita recipes.

The moment I spoke to them I knew that it would be ideal for William and one of our "My Little Chef" posts.

Ingredients
Santa Maria Tortillas
Santa Maria Salsa
Santa Maria Fajita Seasoning Sachet

An Onion
Paprika
Peppers
Chicken Stock
Chicken Pieces (We used Quorn Pieces)
Cheese
            Lemon Juice

William started off by preparing the Peppers and Onion by cutting them into strips.

He then fried the Chicken pieces in Paprika and Lemon. William constantly turned the pieces so they wouldn't burn and cooked them throughout.

William then placed the sliced vegetables in the pan and fried them using the Santa Maria Sachet.

He the placed all 8 tortilla wraps in the microwave for 45 seconds.
Once complete he sliced some cheese and placed it in the middle of the wrap, following Salsa sauce, Chicken Pieces and then the vegetables.

William then wrapped and enclosed the wrap.

Then Enjoy!

Williams 5 Tips

1. Always have Adult supervision when using sharp Knives
2. Always have Adult supervision when using the hob, it is Hot!
3. You can marinade the Chicken Pieces in the paprika and Lemon before hand.
4. Don't over fill your wraps or they are difficult to hold and handle.
5. You can never have too much Cheese so add as much as you like!

Thanks! He loves cooking and is quite passionate about doing different bits. With the majority of the ingredients etc being through his choosing.

Thanks Ashley. He's good with his ideas! And as long as I'm supervising then I think why not let him do it :)
