Living Arrows #14

Sometimes I take hundreds of photos of the boys and other times I barely take any. I decided that this year would be one where I try to capture a consistent about and document them more. It made sense then that I join in with Donna's linky, Living Arrows.

"Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
This has been a week with more sunshine, warmer days and the start of the Easter holidays.

This has meant we've had great fun out at the park. The boys love playing football together and I love seeing them getting back outside playing it.

Despite William's foot work James is a brilliant keeper! I think William only scored once this afternoon.

We have also taken on a mini project along the theme of Vikings to suit our home ed topic.

In this the boys made a viking boat. They've loved this but William more than James. He really has an eye for fine detail and construction.

Your viking ship is awesome. I think I am going to add that to my list of things to crochet if I ever get an order free week 😊

Great to see the sunshine again isn't it? Being a good goalie is a real skill, I hope he keeps up with it when he goes to school. I'm rubbish in goal whatever sport I'm playing.
