Living Arrows #19

Sometimes I take hundreds of photos of the boys and other times I barely take any. I decided that this year would be one where I try to capture a consistent about and document them more. It made sense then that I join in with Donna's linky, Living Arrows.

"Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

This week has seemed to fly by for us.

With the mixed weather of both plenty of rain and sunny periods our seedlings have exploded and turned into exciting and flourishing plants. William has loved this and is out every morning watering and tending to the plants. His particular favourite has been the strawberries. I love how seriously he takes it and it has shown a renewed level of maturity and responsibility.

I have also been either a great parent or a great home educator but there has seemed to be no in between with the two! So much so that I ignored my lesson plans on Thursday and we went out for a late lunch together. It was nice to get out, go for a walk in the sun and then sit down together and treat ourselves for the hard work.

I think I should arrange more treats for us to enjoy and both of the boys loved this but will need to find some balance between so we don't abandon home ed altogether.

How has your week been?
