My Sunday Photo 10/12/17

This week had marked the start of our countdown towards Christmas and us getting into the chrostmas spirit more.

As we've done a lot I couldn't just choose one photo so instead have chosen my favourite three.

Last weekend we went to our local Dickens Festival but marked with a Dickensian Christmas. We loved bumping into the ghost of Christmas present and of yet to come. The effort these people go to just to add some extra enjoyment for everyone is always aprreciated.

We, with the help of Hannah, also put up our Christmas tree up! Much earlier than we would normally do it!

Finally, I wanted to do something arty this week so using 4 A3 sizes of paper I drew the winter scene and boys, with some guidance only, used pastels to complete it!

What do you all think?

Love the winter scence. I do wish I was a bit more arty.

Is Chrostmas a new feast I've not heard of it before?

The winter scene is beautiful and I do like your colourful Christmas tree! We always do ours quite late, so it will probably be another week yet.

... is that blue sky in the background? All the moaning from Brits on Twitter led me to believe the whole country is buried under a blanket of awful weather! Looks like you are all having fun in the lead-up to Christmas! I hope its a magical time for you all! #MySundayPhoto

My son would be thrilled with the festival, he's playing the ghost of Christmas yet to be in the school play. Your tree looks lovely and so does your art work. Well done everyone, I hope all your Christmas wishes come true.

I thought the first photo was showing those hints from Lord of the rings. But yes Dickensen Ghostbof Xmas future makes much more sense 😄

Love the idea of a Dickensian Christmas event. Our Christmas tree went up yesterday, and similarly was a lot earlier than normal. But loving having it up.

I love the boys' picture, they're very talented. The Christmas ghost is awesome too. Next time, let Hannah take the photo of the Christmas tree though. I know it's one of yours because you cut the top off.

The Dickens festival always looks so interesting. I’m not sure my girls would have been brave enough to post with the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come. Love the picture that the boys did - it looks amazing :-)
