James is 4!

Today is James' 4th birthday!

I can not believe it at all!

It really doesn't seem that 4 years ago we welcomed him in weighing 6lb 8 and 3 weeks early. Out of the two boys James was the one we had a home birth with; such a great thing to do if it ever interests you but because of this it actually made his birthday even more special.

If he had been born one day earlier we wouldn't have been able to have a home birth due to potential risk factors of an early birth. If he had been a day later his Mum would have had a different midwife to the one that she had been seeing all that time because she was off on holiday; even more that the specific midwife was also on that exact night shift too.

Being his birthday I tried to write a special post about him but every time I tried I couldn't get it right so instead I thought I would show you his ever changing face:

His first few moments.

When he first met William; for some reason he was convinced that James had come out and bought his a train set!

First Christmas and his first birthday!

What a difference an extra year makes! Especially when getting his cheeky smile!

His third birthday and then him just being 3!

Which then leads me to my final photo! My ever mischievous 4 year old!

Definitely can't believe where these last 4 years have gone with him. At least now I have this blog so I can at least keep track a little more rather than being a little sad that it has all gone past in a blink of an eye!

Will put some birthday posts up soon!
