Review - Anisnap Watch

With us investigating and understanding Time this term in Home School it has played on my mind to purchase William a watch.

I was thinking that have a watch would benefit and reinforce any understanding that he has from the topic.

Whilst debating this just before Christmas I was lucky enough to be contacted by the lovely people from Aniworld to review one of their watches! (Perfect Time....See what I did there?)

Aniworld is a company that is set out to create colourful, engaging and useful products for children; something that I think they have achieved brilliantly!

Primarily the company produces Watches and Clocks around a "world" they have created with different animals. The designs are a combination of farm animals, pets and even to animals like Dinosaurs.

The selection possible is vast and would suit most children's personal choice.

Being a massive Pig fan in this house we decided to go with one!

The Watch is designed with a slap on silicone strap which fits perfectly around any child's wrist and prevents some common problems like:

  • Strap sizes
  • Out growing the watch
  • Difficult and tricky buckles
  • Easy for children to put on independently
  • Pinching
  • Or, being to big or small

As you can see the watch is a great size and something that will last for a few years rather than needing to replace it when the strap is too small. William also had great fun at "Snapping" the watch around his wrist!

Alongside the animal shaped outer casing the back of the clock face has the animal design. What I enjoyed most here was that the design didn't prevent you from seeing the numbers that were displayed; something that I found frustrating when previously looking for watches.

With a clear and readable display, and companied by the fun design, William absolutely truly loved his watch and hasn't not worn it since he received it!

The no fuss access has allowed him to independently wear it and put it on as part of his morning "getting dressed" schedule.

Something that you might be able to see which I found was a nice added feature was the glow in the dark hands; again, something that I didn't find with a lot of watches designed for children!

With us studying Time at the moment this has become an addition teaching tool as well as a fun designed present.

If you like the idea and can make the time (See what I did again?) I would definitely suggest that you go and visit them on:

This looks so cute! I wish I had known about them years ago when my kiddos were learning time! I might still have to check them out! I love the snap on wristband feature. I bought a watch at the Coke store and it has the snap on wristband. I love it. Thank you so much for sharing this! Best wishes.

They are cute and definitely engaging. I loved the snap feature too. So much easier than a fiddly buckle
