Summer Fashion with MandM Direct

I was recently asked to review some outfits by MandM Direct and I have to admit that I jumped at the offer!

I am not the best at buying new clothes. Not only do I usually have incredibly poor fashion sense or at least bad sense on what would look good on me, I also don't really have the money to afford brand name and designer products.

This does usually have it's drawbacks where the lower quality doesn't last very long so, instead, I tend to save up and treat myself to a new outfit 2 or 3 times a year.

Being a Single Dad, however, I want to look my best and at the same time not opt for the standard "Dad fashion sense". It really can be a tricky situation!

However, MandM Direct offer a solution for this where they have a large range of cheap clothing for women, men and children as well as shoes and accessories; You will also find top named brands but at discounted prices which is fantastic!

It was great then to receive a large parcel containing 2 outfits; one for the summer sunny days and the other for the summer evenings!

Summer Day Outfit

On my first outfit I wanted to really embrace the summer and the warm weather that we are expecting. I wanted something light, thin and airy that would also look great!

The outfit would RRP at £39.98 however only costs £19.98 which is half the retail price!

The T-Shirt is exactly what I was looking for! Made out of 100% cotton it is light, cool and comfortable. The Shorts, again, are 100% cotton but being combat shorts have the additional pockets that are ideal for carrying anything extra on a hit day. They have both a zip and button fastenings as well as belt hoops if you choose to wear one.

Summer Evening Outfit

Although I enjoy dressing smartly for special occasions I do find that I enjoy the casual look when going out in the evening' my outfit would resemble that.

In both photos you will see that I am wearing a Pink French Connection tipped Polo shirt and Tintwash Kangaroo Poo Slim Stretch Fit Jeans.

The outfit would RRP at £59.98 however, it only costs £29.98 which, again, is half the retail price!

I am quite a slim guy so I do often have trouble with fitted jeans, especially when my MD had changed my shape. However, these were fantastic! The stretch in them allows them to be comfy as well as fitting all shapes and sizes. I love a polo shirt but often cant afford the brand names but this is perfect! I am also totally in love with it being pink.

You will see in the bottom photo that I am also wearing a Khaki Fluid Mens Jacket which is RRP at £39.99 but currently costs £14.99.

The Jacket is exactly the type that you want in the summer evening. It is very light so will keep the cooler evenings at bay and still make you feel comfortable!

In both outfits I am wearing Navy Mad Wax Mens Canvas Boat Shoes which usually RRP at £19.99 but cost £7.99.

I might not be the wisest person when it comes to fashion normally but the one thing I do know is a good pair of shoes! With the MD causing walking difficulties a good pair of shoes is everything! These and not only comfortable but with the rubber sole and firm grip that are suitable for most occasions. (In fact they have become one of my favourite pairs to wear!)

What I love most about these outfits is that they are not only fashionable and comfortable but they also are at an incredible price! All the outfits were reduced by 50% but they have up to 75% off on clothes and accessories for men, women and kids!

That's me ready for the summer and I will definitely be heading back to get some more!

Are you ready with your summer outfits? Or starting to look but need to save some money as well? What do you think of mine?
