#40DayBloggingChallenge - Week 3

This week has been a personally hard week with a lot of different things going on. It is often difficult to keep going with projects like this when things get tough but that in itself is more than a reason to do it.
The whole point of this Lent challenge is to give something positive to someone else and in a week when it’s the hardest a little bit of sunshine is definitely needed!

So we are now on the third week and I love the people featured this week.

Day 11
@stevie_crouch

I wanted to start the week off with a bang and couldn’t think of a better blogger to do than Stevie from A Cornish Mum Blog.

Stevie is a mum to 2 boys, as the name suggests, Cornish and diabetes writer and blogger! She is not only a great blogger showing the brilliance of living in Cornwall but is a keen advocate writer for type 1 Diabetes writing the highs and lows following her so Fin having it. To top that she’s a brilliant friend and is always around for blog help, sounding board, beard related comments and often trying to keep me out of trouble! (I suppose someone has to!)
She is a massive presence online already but I think more people should spend time chatting, reading and getting to know her and it is for that reason I think she should be featured.

I couldn't not feature Stevie and not include a post based on Cornwall. I have a running joke with her about being allowed in and when I am I would love to visit some of the places she recommends; such as places like Lands End.

Day 12
@Life_of_Tont

It wouldn’t be a week on Lent without a featured dad blogger and this week I think I have chosen wisely! Tony aka Papa Tont is a giant of a man in the blogging world as well as in real life!
He is a dad, mental health and general writer but more than that, a friend. Tony is one of the nicest people to know. He is a great man and a gentleman to boot. Like any good man he has his issues but the way he deals with them reflects the person he is. His blog does exactly that too and you will find that his posts are always candid and it’s something I've always loved. Depths that he writes just empathises someone who is worth getting to know. Perfect to feature .

The featured post shows the depths of his writing perfectly. I wish I was more Titanium!

Day 13
@DellerLisa

Lisa from Little Orange Dog gets multiple points this week. She features as a blogger who may be unknown to many people, she is also from Kent so ticks that criteria and is also a Single parent! More importantly, she is one of the very few people to know the real life me, ticks the pain in my neck box and yet she’s still my friend!
Lisa is a single Mum to 2 girls (almost 2 teens as well!), friend and mummy to Max, her little orange dig. Lisa shares her blog with Max and they both write brilliant and funny posts although I have to admit that Max is much better!

The post I chose from Lisa highlights her writing perfectly! School runs! Fun or not!

Day14
@MamaMummyMum

Although Lisa may match my Kent based blogger tick box I did want to solely focus on one. Chantelle from Mama, Mummy, Mum is perfect for it this week.
Over this last year and a bit I have been reading her blog regularly and she has also become one of my favourite twitter folk. She is a Mum 4 girls, which if you ask me is utter madness but warrants the attention as a blogger! Her blog features posts on parenting, general life and one of my favourite series, read with me. As a massive bibliophile this always appeals to me. However, the style that she writes with her parenting posts shows exactly what real parenting can be like.

Blogger, Twitter and general chatty folk means that Chantelle is one to definitely follow and chat with!
The feature post is a parenting one. It highlights the fact that her eldest will be stating secondary school!
Day 15

I'm a bit naughty as I've not chosen a blogger to be featured but instead one of my favourite people in the blogging world! Lauren aka @lola_Dashuri doesn’t run a blog but she is always involved in blogging conversations, chatting to bloggers and will engage with your different social media channels with nothing but encouragement, kindness and love. It is for this very reason why I had to feature Lauren. For people who don’t know her, she is a mum to twig a 2 year old girl, wife to Mr and as mentioned previously one of the sweetest people to know.

Lauren might not be a blogger but I think blogging would be dull and darker place without her! And who else would I stalk on Instagram every week! Definitely take the time to get some sunshine and chat to her!
Day 16

Naomi writes over at Me, Becoming Mum. She is a Mum to R & L, Wife to J, geek, blogger and great tweeter! Naomi writes parenting posts that highlight life with R a 3 year old girl, pregnancy and then life with baby L as well as just throwing a bit of life in between.

I haven’t known or been reading her blog for that long but started engaging just as she gave birth to L and what a treat that has meant. I have had the pleasure to have ringside seats to all the baby spam there is and if you haven’t seen the photos then do, she is gorgeous!
Within the time chatting and bonding over mutual love of baby spam I can say that I have become friends with Naomi even if that means I am being laughed at due to what my Twitter life gets up to!

The featured post is a great one that I think all parents could relate too! Things you shouldn't say to a parent!

So that is it for this week! What do you think of the people featured this week?
