My Little Chef - Salt and Pepper Chips

We are addicted to watching food related videos that float around our Facebook feed. More often than not William and I are sat watching them and making a list of what to do next! Yet, it is very rare that we watch one and have all of the ingredients waiting for us; Salt and Pepper Chips was perfect!

Ingredients
Chips
Peppers
Onions
Salt
Oil
Garlic
Paprika
Chilli
Sugar
Soy Sauce

Out of all of the recipes that we have done this is by far the easiest and in my opinion most child friendly!

William started by placing and cooking some chips in the oven.

William started off by slicing the peppers into strips.

He then peeled and finely sliced the onions.

With a splash of cooking oil into a frying pan William then added a large amount of Soy sauce. He put enough to lightly cover the bottom of the pan.

He then added the onions and peppers to the pan and fried them until the reduced.

He then added and sprinkled some garlic into the pan.

Then some Paprika and Chilli.

Then finally some salt and sugar.

With the chips cooked and out of the oven he added them on top of the peppers, onions and seasoning and gently fried and mixed them together.

Once ready and fully mixed it will be ready to be served.

This is a really easy and tasty recipe. I am assuming that you can do the same with any other ingredient to replace the chips like Chicken or Fish and create a range of meals!

Simple to do an less than 30 minutes from start to finish.

What do you think? Sound tasty to you?

Let us know if you give it a go!

Ooh these sound pretty good, my two would be delighted with a meal like that, I guess you could add some quorn pieces in with the peppers etc when you're cooking those for some protein to make a complete meal. Might have to try it.
