My Sunday Photo 21/05/17

My Mum always dreamed of a beautiful garden but for many years my dad had the attitude "bugger the garden, I'm watching the football". On losing Mum dad has spent the last few years making sure that it is as pretty as she would have wanted and within that planting lots of different rose bushes.

With the mix of warm weather and plenty of rain the roses have all come out beautifully. These ones in particular are my favourite. I just love the colour of them!

I agree it's a beautiful rose. The colour is so pretty. Unfortunately, here in the North East of Scotland we are a little behind with our roses...but it'll be worth the wait I'm sure. Enjoy! :D

Those are stunning roses. I couldn't go them myself. My attitude is generally "if you can't eat it, I can't b bothered to grow it." I do, however salute your dad for his change of attitude. He's certainly doing very well.

What a beautiful rose. It's love that your dad has done that, but what a shame it was too late for your mum.
