Living Arrows #23

Sometimes I take hundreds of photos of the boys and other times I barely take any. I decided that this year would be one where I try to capture a consistent about and document them more. It made sense then that I join in with Donna's linky, Living Arrows.

"Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

It was only last week where I was saying that we had a quiet yet down time from technology and I hadn't taken any photos of the boys. This week, however, has been fun packed and have done loads!

We started the week off in Home Ed by exploring the solar system as part of our latest topics! This was all off the review of the Little Astronauts kits we received that sparked the boys imagination and interest.

It was also the week where I, along with many of you, went to vote in the general election. I was pretty clear on who I wanted to vote for but it also have us as a family a moment to chat about the different parties.

Then at the weekend we attended the Dickens festival which was filled with fun, food, community and lots of food.
We have loved this week and back to being busy again! The boys have learnt things about space and planets, history and geography and some politics and morals along the way. Admittedly we were all rather tired from being busy but it has been a week of fun and interest.

How has your week been?

Sounds like a great week. I like the sound of the Little Astronauts kits. Interesting that you combined it with a photo from the election. Libby and I had an in depth conversation about politics this morning where she was debating the best person to be prime minister. She couldn't decide whether Tip Peake or Mo Farah would be best. I think either would be a great choice.
