Hannah and I took a little day trip over to Hever Castle yesterday!
It was the first time I've gone as an adult and loved it. Apart from the beautiful grounds we of course wanted to go inside the castle; however, we were stopped by 2 knights guarding the bridge.
Only to find a few minutes later that Henry VIII had come out to greet us!

Love the knights guarding the castle and getting to see the king too is exciting! Hope you had a lovely day out :-)
I love it when they get into character, makes the whole place come alive doesn't it? One more to add to my list!
That castle looks amazing. It does make the day even better when they have characters there.
Bet you had a great day.

It does look very impressive, as does that Jolly old Henry!
Wow that looks a fantastic place to visit. I bet there's not many bloggers that have taken a photo of Henry VIII. Brilliant :D
That's a perfect Henry. Real knights and everything, I love it.

That's really cool, especially Henry VIII! I think I might actually be slightly scared of him if I saw him, but I reckon he's probably a few stone too small!
I love Hever and haven't been for ages, great photos #MySundayPhoto
