Needing New Summer Clothes

I have been on a massive sort out in the flat recently. It isn't quite a spring clean considering it is now summer but something has clicked and I have been motivated to sort all the little corners.

One aspect I have been sorting is the boys clothes. We went through all the small sizes as well as winter clothes that might have been okay a few months ago that we know wont fit in 6 months time!

Admittedly it has been quite refreshing to do it but the downside was buy all new clothes where I had left the drawers a little empty.

I had done the same with all of my clothes too, so much so that I have been left with very little clothes for this summer!

I am notoriously bad at choosing clothes; in fact it is a bit of a running joke amongst my friends when I am stuck in a shop staring at the rail for 10 minutes because I have no idea what to choose. Now, I am sure that this is partially to do with my D.P.D and the fact that I am a man and the generalised sexist assumption of men and shopping also applies to me.
Usually to help me through those difficult decision making moments I have friends on by via Whatsapp to help me out! I send a photo of the options and they usually choose for me.
This time I have decided to look online for clothes. It saves me from going to the large and busy shopping centres and avoids me spending lots of money where I see a nice outfit rather than a few items that I like.
Looking online then would save time for everyone involved and with that I could order and get the items delivered to me. However, it suddenly dawned on me that we are about to start the summer holiday period.
Why would this be a problem?
I am admittedly a little tight for money but I am hoping we are all in the same boat here. Days out to fun places, holidays, treats to entertain the children and on top of that all the back to school stuff that always needs buying! Admittedly, I don’t have to worry too much about the latter with us being Home Ed but there are still always costs.
This then left me in a rock and a hard place. I need a nice new clothes for the summer that would keep me cool but would also help where my shape and size has changed over this last year! (With a stone and a half gained so has my waist line!) Luckily I came across some deals on Love the Sales and created a mini list but as always I still need your help!
I always do well with nice plain polo shirts so really liked the look of this Fred Perry one.

M2 Single Tipped Polo

Or maybe just plain coloured Tees like this one:

Tokyo Laundry Men's Textured Grotto T-Shirt - Oxblood Red

The options for the trousers are a little easier. I don't wear shorts often and would usually stick to nice jeans.
 Classic Jeans Mens
Dark Jeans like the ones above.
Decision, decisions and more decisions. What shall I do?
Hopefully you guys will all help me out and make me look cool or maybe my normal geeky self!
Alternatively if you have any other suggestions on what I should wear for the awards I would love to know!
(This means good suggestions you lot! I know what you guys are like….you’ll be having me dressed up in a pink flowery dress with a lovely yellow hat!)

Ooo yes I can see you in a pink dress and flowery hat! ;) I love the selections you've made. I hate having to shop for new clothes.

I can't afford the clothes I would want. So end up with Mrs OMG telling me I need new clothes and eventually giving in to one of her suggestions.
