Review - PK Green - Solar Lights

I was recently contacted by PK Green to review one of their LED products. As I am still trying to get to grips since I moved back in July there was a range of products that could have comfortable worked, however, the Boys and I have been working hard on cleaning up and improving our Garden. So I felt it best to try one of their Solar Outdoor lights.

With our Garden being quite small I decided that I would choose lights that I could hand around our fence.

The 50 LED Solar White Star Lights came in a neat well package box which I found great; I personally dislike it when I get products that are packaged poorly. Even more so the box seemed to display the product really well.

Although I am a typical man and usually ignore the instructions provided and just look at the picture on the box I will say that the instructions showed a clear guide on how to put the lights together.

There are two mounting options for the Solar panel a peg that can be placed anywhere within sunlight or a wall bracket that is easily screwed in to a wall or panel. (Screws came with the product)

I chose the garden peg purely out of convenience. The attaching bracket was easy to connect with two accessible switches; one a standard on/off and the second as an Automatic. (The latter point switches on automatically at dusk)

I have seen other products by other companies that have a fiddly on/of switches that you have to unscrew the light fitting itself to change; PK made this so much simpler!

I carefully screwed along a supporting fence panel and layered my string lights across the fence; covering 5 metres they suited the area really well.

By around 6pm, with the sunlight starting to disappear, I noticed instantly that a small glow was coming from the LED's.

By 8pm the light were shining brightly along the fence.

With only putting them up in the morning around 11.00am it only took around 6 hours to charge and then start working; this was great considering the information provide suggested an 8 hour charge.

The combination of the lights being Solar Powered really grabbed me but even more so was the fact that all the lights were waterproof which meant that they could stay outside all year round.

They have definitely brightened up the fence and made our garden more decorative and I am already considering getting more products to enhance the boarders or patio space. (They do have quite a good range of products available)

Although the weather is starting to become more mild it has made me want to sit outside in the evening and enjoy what would normally be a darkened and boring space; especially when I have company over.

To find out about more of their products, inside and out, then please check out their site.

(I was given this product for free to review. My opinions are my own and I am under no obligations to give a positive review. Please see my full disclosure at the bottom of my blog)
