Trolley Bags - Cool Bag - Review and Win

Earlier this year we got the opportunity to review the fantastic original trolley bags. We loved them back then and still love them now!
They are sturdy fabric bags that have the addition of poles to rack along the trolley; this is in addition to the alternating Velcro patches at the top that combine the set together and make attaching and separating so easy!

We, as a household, are keen on recycling, reusing and upcycling as much as possible so I am always pleased to try and find products that are environmentally friendly and Trolley Bags are exactly that where they’re made from recycled, non-woven.
You can see why we were excited then to be asked to review their new product: Insulated Cool Bag.

We did what we always do and grabbed our Trolley bags and went to the shops.

At the shops we went straight into action and lined our set of original bags across the trolley.

Since trailing the set earlier this year we found that it is easy to start with the set laid across but this made us question where we should put the cool bag. However, just like the trolley bags the design of the cool bag has clearly had a lot of thought put into it!

Like the others, the cool bag fold up and is kept together with Velcro but also had a small handle that makes it easy to carry or to place onto the bad of the trolley. (As seen below)

With the shop completed and us at the till we unloaded, paid and loaded back up again.

This is when we unrolled the cool bag and placed it into the blue bag (bag 1) of the set. It would and can go in the other bags but it fits perfectly within the smaller one. We placed all of our frozen and cooled products in there and then zipped up the cool bag.

Once back at the car we had two clear options:

1. Undo the velco and separate the bags including the blue one with the cool bag

2. Take the cool bag out separately

What I loved about the cool bag was the time when we got home. Usually the boys want to rummage through the snack bag whilst I am rushing to put the frozen shopping back without getting soggy items. Obviously using the cool bag with the set prevented this situation and I could multitask without any fuss!

From doing the shopping, to the car and then home and the additional time it took for us to start putting the shopping away our items were as cool as they were when they first grabbed them.

So what's our summary on the cool bag?

We love the fifth addition to the trolley bag range! The cool bag works perfectly along the set but it can be used without them too.

The bag is easy to fold up and to take with the original 4 set or to put in your bag when you go. The clever design means that it isn't a large item and easily folds away for your convenience.

It keeps your shopping cool around the supermarket and on your journey home and does exactly what you want it to!

As a Stay at Home Dad shopping is a regular activity for me so it is great to find a product that help supports the experience. So, if you're a Dad reading this don't dismiss them straight away; they're not just for Mums! We love our Original Trolley bag set and it has made our shopping a much better experience and the new addition of the cool bag makes it perfect.
