BIC Kids Colouring Activity Kit - Review and Win

The boys absolutely love colouring. I make sure we do it as much as possible as part of our home education from pictures, graphs and charts to just colouring because it is fun!

I don’t blame them either! Colouring for me is not only therapeutic but captures an aspect of my own childhood that I enjoyed. Even if I was one of those children who got a little excited finding an array of stationary as presents and stocking fillers.
So, when BIC asked me to review their BIC Kids Colouring Activity Set I knew immediately that I should jump at the chance! (Even if I did have some intentions for the boys to share it with me)

The Activity kit comes in an engaging drum and holds an Alvin and the Chipmunk themed 50 piece set.

  • 14x Themed Colouring Activity Templates
  •  12x Tropicolors2 Easy to Sharpen Colouring Pencils
  • 12x Kid Couleur Ultra Washable Colouring Felt Pens
  • 12x Plastidecor Extra Clean Colouring Crayons
  •  1x Ecolutions Washable Glue Stick
This drum is priced at just £10. For me as a parent on a budget, this represents excellent value for money. Especially when you consider that if you were to purchase each component of the drum individually, the total would amount to well over a tenner.

I especially love that the pens and glue stick are washable so if the boys get covered in either, which, lets face it, is likely to happen, that it washes off!
This is also a great pack for any Alvin and the Chipmunks fans!
Included in the drum is a 14 page activity booklet which both of the boys were keen to test and try out!
Both of the boys loved the colour and cut characters which were both fun and engaging with minimal difficulty for their ages:

The booklet also contained activities such as spot the difference, mazes, dot to dot and word searches and all with the added bonus to colour and explore.

The boys jumped straight in and wanted to do as much as possible and I don't blame them. The booklet is ideal for many different occasions from a couple of activities on a rainy
day or to use whilst travelling; with easy to tear sheets I could separate the activities without any fighting!

I think this is a perfect set or gift for any child (or cheeky adult who wants to have a go) who enjoys colouring.
