Review- 1byone-Turntable-Speakers-Recording

I was sat watching Back to Future with the boys and they commented on how big the CD’s were in on scene and if that is what compact discs looked like all that time ago.
It was a perfect moment to discuss the changes in technology and to review the 1byOne Turntable!

I remember as a small child sitting around listening to an old fashioned vinyl playing on an even older turntable. Mum and Dad would be playing some of their favourite hits whilst my brother and I would listen to songs like Paul McCartneys Frog Song: we all stand together or Earnie the Fastest Milkman in the west by Benny Hill (Which we mostly played to annoy dad being a milkman by trade) and Kylie Minogue and Michael Jackson.

It was a time of love and enjoyment for us as a family.
I think our generation were ones that have seen a mass change in technology and with that a change in how we listen to music. We went from listening to songs on vinyl to recording and playing cassettes, then to having CDs, MP3 players and USB pens. Music and how we have listened has changed.

The turntable by 1byone has produced a bridging gap between old and new and has helped make listening to vinyl cool again!

On the top you have the standard turntable and arm protected by a dust cover.

On the traditional and stylish wooden appearance you also find a modern front. Here you can change the method that you are listening from either Phono (Vinyl) or USB.

Here you can place your USB drive in and not only play back songs that you already have on it but also record your vinyl classics!

With a standard power outlet and aux points at the back makes setting this up incredibly easy!

With us all plugged in it was time to give it a whirl.

With a classic vinyl on the turntable we were ready to play. The arm and needle both had protective covering to stop from damage to the more delicate features. Yet, gives a more controlled features with an auto stop function and the arm also has a soft damping control.

This turntable with three speed settings, 33, 45 and 78 rpm so it is easy to adjust to any record that you have. On a personal note, the boys found the speed changes hilarious and I remember spending hours as a child adjusting them.

It was a great opportunity for me to get some of the classic rock songs that I was brought up with and give them a whirl.

The added feature on the front of using a USB is brilliant! I do have several albums on my phone but there are some copies that I just do not have and having the ability to record on to the pen drive was amazing. It means that we can create modern and portable music play in our car, on our laptop or even via the TV.

When it is on you will see a red light but with that it will flash once it is recording.

Every song, every record and every movement to play brought me back to my childhood. The fact that I could get classic songs from that era and before from my dad was fantastic but it has also allowed me to be searching online and in charity shops for any records that they might have.

Fan of Vinyl or reminiscing this turntable is a house hold item that everyone should have. From my own personal experience it has pleased me to have it around for myself and for children. With Christmas coming up I would recommend this a good buy!

A chance to turn the records round as well as your old memories and enjoy some brilliant songs!

You can currently purchase these at RRP £49.99  which, in my opinion, isn't bad for something that will offer hours of songs and happiness for all of the family

(I was given this product for free to review. My opinions are my own and I am under no obligations to give a positive review! Please see my full disclosure at the bottom of my blog)
