Review- Cake Toppers

I was recently contacted by the team at Caketoppers who do personalised cake and cupcakes with printed edible icing toppers and the best bit is that they deliver across the UK; of course I took the opportunity to review some cupcakes in a run up to Christmas. Who turns down cake?

We were sent 2 cupcakes, one chocolate and one vanilla. Both of the cupcakes had our blog logo on top.

The colour was vibrant and really represented our
logo well.

Which you can see below in the colours between the logo and the cake.

On to the eating! As there were 2 it felt a bit mean to eat both myself and not let the boys have any. So, instead, I gave the boys one each and I tried a small amount of each!

So what did we think?

My Opinion:

Both of the sponges were soft, fluffy and moist and exactly what you would want with a sponge. On feeling them with a small little squeeze they had the natural and perfect spring that you would want. The chocolate cupcake was rich and smooth and ticked every one of my chocolatey needs.

The icing top was sweet and the combination between the 2 different flavours worked well and didn't become too sweet!

William's Opinion:

The chocolate was yummy and sweet. It was balanced all over and not like some of my cakes where the chocolate is a bit mixed. The icing was very sweet but I liked that and I want more.

James' Opinion:

The cake was soft and didn't hurt my teeth and it tasted electric!

I think that rounds both of the cupcakes nicely and repeats exactly what I thought too! One thing that I do know is that if they didn't like it they would have said so, especially my little chef William.

They can print toppers for both cakes and cupcakes and are both available online for nationwide delivery for either small or larger quantities.

If you are looking for cakes or cupcakes for a personalised gift or to use to promote your business or an event then Caketoppers are definitely a good choice! They are cute, colourful and taste fantastic! Importantly, they are cake and everybody loves cake!

(I was given this product for free to review. My opinions are my own and I am under no obligations to give a positive review. Please see my full disclosure at the bottom of my blog)
