Argh!
It seems such a long time ago when the nominations for the
blogging awards were floating around and everyone was asking for nomination!
I also can’t believe that somehow, this blog of mine where I
write my utter nonsense, made the final category for the Best School Days blog.
However, ignoring the great time that has flown by, the awards
ceremony to find out the winner is slowly creeping up on us. This, therefore, has left me with a big old
question: what am I going to wear?
I am notoriously bad at choosing clothes; in fact it is a
bit of a running joke amongst my friends when I am stuck in a shop staring at
the rail for 10 minutes because I have no idea what to choose. Now, I am sure
that this is partially to do with my D.P.D and the fact that I am a man and the
generalised sexist assumption of men and shopping also applies to me.
Usually to help me through those difficult decision making
moments I have friends on by via Whatsapp to help me out! I send a photo of the
options and they usually choose for me.
This time I have decided to look online for clothes. The
awards are only 2 weeks away and I don’t really see that I will have that much
time to go out and spend a day dithering over clothes when others could help me
do it.
Looking online then would save time for everyone involved
and with that I could order and get the items delivered to me.
Then I remembered that we are coming to the end of the summer
holidays.
Why would this be a problem?
I am admittedly a little tight for money but I am hoping we
are all in the same boat here. Days out to fun places, holidays, treats to
entertain the children and on top of that all the back to school stuff that
always needs buying! Admittedly, I don’t have to worry too much about the latter
with us being Home Ed but there are still always costs.
This then left me in a rock and a hard place. I need a nice
outfit, which I am assuming is smart casual, for the awards but possibly one
that is extremely cheap that I can work within my restricted budget and to find
these on an online site. Luckily I came across some deals on Love the Sales and
created a mini list but as always I still need your help!
I always do well with nice plain long sleeve shirts so I
quite like these 3:

Decision, decisions and more decisions. What shall I do?
Hopefully you guy will all help me out and make me look cool
and fairly dapper than my normal geeky self!
Alternatively if you have any other suggestions on what I
should wear for the awards I would love to know!
(This means good suggestions you lot! I know what you guys
are like….you’ll be having me dressed up in a pink flowery dress with a lovely
yellow hat!)
