Hasbro Christmas Round-up

I have been lucky this year and have been part of the Hasbro toy tribe! It has been a great opportunity for both the boys and I to be a part of.

With these great opportunities and it running up to Christmas the boys and I have chosen our Top 5 Hasbro toys both from ones we have reviewed and ones we haven't!

5.

For any budding Star Wars fan this is a great toy. The ability to build and create your own lightsaber or replicate one from your favourite character is something that every Star wars fan young or old will want!

The spin action allows fast moving flow and adds to game play but the extra sound and light features really brings it to life.

I and the boys both loved these and I can see that we all can have hours of fun playing with them. I can see this being a favourite in the run up to Christmas for any Star Wars fan. It is currently RRP is £44.99 but this does vary at some retailer's.

The Hyperfire is perfect gift for any Nerf blasters fans either as a one off or if you have a range of the different products avaliable from the smaller blasters and even the bow and arrow ones!

They Hyperfire works differently to any other product that is usually used in the Nerf range. On top of the blaster you will find a white, extendable compartment. This is primarily used as a jam door and allows you to adjust any dart that may be stuck.

By inserting the Nerf dart into the firing clip, and putting it the correct direction, the spring motion allows it to load into the circular chamber.

Overall we loved it and it does make a great addition to our Nerf collection. The rapid firing is great and will surprise most people at how quick it works despite knowing this from the description and although there are 25 darts available the chamber has room for more! A great edition to a collection or a lovely gift for anyone who wants to start one!

The RRP is £49.99 but this does vary at some retailer's.

Transformers were one of many toys that were introduced in the 80s that had shows alongside them and they have stayed a staple source with new incarnations trough each decade with Optimus Prime being the leader of the hear robots the Autobots. Power Surge Optimus is the latest in line with the show Transformers; Robot's in disguise.

It also comes with an attachable flip carriage and the important Mini-Con Aero Bolt Figure. This is where this action figure is different: The mini-con unlocks the different modes available from vehicle mode, flight mode, robot mode and the new power surge mode. Within this you will find that each mode has accompanying sound affects that is unlocked.

Like all Transformers and especially Optimus it transforms into it's truck counterpart.

It is standing out compared to previous transformers that have been released and fits perfectly with any the new modern take on the programme and toy!

Any Transformer fan would love this toy especially if they have any of the other figures within the Power Surge Range and I can see this being a must have toy in the run up to Christmas.

Optimus is currently RRP of £49.99 and has a recommended age of 5+.

FurReal Friends JJ, My Jumpin’ Pug
We haven't been given one of these to review but I wanted to feature one that we hadn't. The boys and I went through the various toys that are available with Hasbro at the moment and they both loved this and I think many other would too!

Furreal Friends is a selection of electronic pets. My Jumpin’ Pug pet looks and acts like a real pug and looks great to interact with! The pet jumps and barks when you wave at him or pet his head and sits when you pet his back as well as having super soft fur.

My boys love animals and with that animal toys! I think any child that has the same love for pets as mine do would love this as a Christmas gift! Although the RRP varies it is around £40.00

The boys and I can see that Furby connect will be a number one toy this Christmas! It has advanced from a classic Furby that many of us had as a child and become an interactive and modern toy that I believe many children will enjoy.

It still is cute, fluffy, engaging and fun but now with an added modern twist!

Apart from the new features like the 150, and more, expressive animations via the LCD eyes, ears and light-up antenna the classic features of being able to fed, stroke, tickle or shake the Furby are still available.

The new design has the added twist of having an added antenna onto of its head. This, of course, helps connectivity via Bluetooth to the device and app but adds to the interaction and game play by moving and pulling it.

The Furby has been and continues to be a must have toy and I can see why. Adding a digital game that allows you to explore, interact and then connect with your friends and their Furby's is a brilliant idea; however, added features such as an internal year- round clock that allows it to know if its Christmas, Easter or even Valentines day makes me feel confident that this will be a toy that always finds ways to engage children. It is currently RRP of £99.99

That is our Top 5 Hasbro round-up for Christmas. There are, of course, some other fantastic toys so please go and have a look. If you are interested in finding out more about the products featured please click the full review title.

(I was given these products for free to review. My opinions are my own and I am under no obligations to give a positive review! Please see my full disclosure at the bottom of my blog)
